Queen City Mile : Buffalo, NY
The event takes place on 08/15/2026 at 55 Chicago Street in Buffalo, NY. The program includes a 1 mile race titled Queen City Mile and a separate Triple Crown Series event held the same day. Heats are split by gender and there is a separate kids race.
Packet pickup and race day registration are held inside Resurgence Brewing in the beer garden, between 4 and 6. Registration windows and fees listed by the organizer are: Queen City Mile registration opens 01/26/2026 and closes 05/22/2026 with a fee of $30.00; Triple Crown Series registration opens 05/20/2026 and closes 08/14/2026 with a fee of $70.00. Registrations completed by July 16 are guaranteed a race shirt; a small number of shirts will be available for sale after the event.
The event offers custom prizes for winners, and prize money is payable only to USATF Niagara association members who win. There is a $100 course record bonus. The race is part of the USATF Niagara runner of the year series and the Buffalo runner of the year series and is presented by Checkers AC.
Proceeds support two scholarships to be awarded in 2027: one week at Snyder Track and Field Summer Camp for a youth, and one week at Blue Mountain XC camp for a high school athlete. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
