About the race

Quarry Bank Trail 10K takes place on 18 May 2027 at Quarry Bank Mill, Styal, Wilmslow (SK9 4LA). The event is a single-lap trail race of approximately 10 km within the National Trust grounds and the surrounding village.

Path improvements have allowed the addition of a one mile loop to extend the course; the new section is flat. The route starts and finishes at Quarry Bank Mill and passes through Styal woods, village areas and a section adjacent to the airport runway. The surface is mixed and includes undulating trail, grass, tarmac, gravel and steps.

The race is licensed by TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules. Facilities listed for the event include KM markers, drink stations, first aid, toilets, chip timing and a bespoke medal for all finishers. There is free parking at Race HQ, free baggage storage and bike storage areas at Quarry Bank Mill. The nearest train or tram stops on foot are Styal (0.5 miles) and Wilmslow (1.9 miles).

Entry fees are stated as £28 for club runners and £30 for non-club runners. Minimum age for entry is 16 years. Entries close when the event limit is reached or at midnight before race day; there are no entries on the day. Transfer options include moving a place to another person or switching to a virtual entry up to one month after race day. Results are available immediately on the event platform and a text can be sent at the finish if a mobile number is provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
