Camping the night before is available at no cost. Previous participants used tents, trucks, a sprinter van, and a full-size motor home, and organizers ask for advance notice to plan space.
New for 2026, participants are asked to contribute one dollar per lap they run on a voluntary basis. Collected contributions will be split among top finishers: 50/30/20 to the top two and the top female. If one of the top two finishers is female, the split will be 60/40 to the top two.
