PWR Endure Ultra 2027 : event description
PWR Endure Ultra 2027 is an Altered Backyard Ultra held at Historic Tockington Manor on 29 May 2027. The event uses a repeating-loop format: each loop is 4.126 miles, and a new loop starts on the hour. Runners complete a loop, use any remaining time to recover, then begin the next loop. Missing the bell ends a competitor's race.
The event is capped at 30 loops, producing a potential total distance of approximately 201 km; if runners remain after loop 30, lap 31 is run as a shotgun finish. The field is limited to 250 runner places. Organizers describe the format as self-supported in practice: participants are expected to bring required kit, food and crew support as needed.
Entries are offered in multiple capped waves labelled Early Bird, Second Wave and Final Wave. The event is open to a range of competitors described by the organizer as amateurs and elites.
