Event overview
The Purple Pride 5K is a community 5-kilometre run associated with Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride. The course starts outside Inter&Co Stadium (655 W. Church St., Orlando, FL 32805), proceeds through the local neighborhood, and finishes on the sideline inside the stadium. Spectators are permitted to enter the stadium to watch finishers. The event is limited to 2,000 participants. The race is chip-timed and awards the top three male and top three female overall, plus top three male and female finishers in standard age groups (9 and under; 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+). Each registrant receives a race t-shirt and a finisher’s medal. The entry package also includes one ticket to an Orlando City match on May 24 and one ticket to an Orlando Pride match on June 7; additional match tickets may be purchased (maximum eight per registration).
Registration and race-day information
Online registration opens in December 2025 and closes May 16; in-person registration is available on race day at an increased rate. The published pricing tiers are $40 until April 17, $45 until May 16, and $50 on race day, with a $10 discount available for Season Ticket Members using a promo code. Packet pickup is scheduled on dates in May at Inter&Co Stadium (Gate B and West Club). Water stations will be available on course and at start/finish. The event is rain-or-shine; organizers may cancel, shorten, or alter the course for weather or other reasons. Entry fees and race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Post-race activities include a DJ and emcee, refreshments from Publix and Pepsi, food trucks, live music, on-field photo opportunities, and family activities.
