Purple Dress Run
The Purple Dress Run takes place on October 15, 2026 at The District at Eastover, 1250 Eastover Drive, Jackson, MS. The event raises funds for Catholic Charities Shelter for Battered Families.

Registration pricing listed for the 5K options shows an online fee of $39.63 and a race day fee of $40.00; group and resident pricing are separately listed. Participants who register after October 14 will not be able to pick up their race packet before race day.
Logistics and participant amenities noted by the organizer include free parking in the garage behind One Eastover Center, a participant t-shirt, and one free drink ticket. There will be a costume contest with prizes for best dressed male and best dressed female; contest activity and awards occur before the run.
