Purple Dress Run
The Purple Dress Run is a 5K run/walk on October 15, 2026 in Jackson, Mississippi, held at The District at Eastover (1250 Eastover Drive). The event benefits the Catholic Charities Shelter for Battered Families.
Event options include a 5K run, a 5K walk, a group registration for four participants, and a residents-only registration that requires an access code. Registration fees include mandatory charges and vary by category, with higher rates for race-day registration. If registration occurs after October 14, race packets will not be available until race day.
Pre-race and post-race activities are organized on the Green at The District at Eastover. All registered participants receive a t-shirt and one free drink ticket. A live band will perform, and a costume contest with prizes will recognize the best dressed male and female; the contest and awards take place before the race.
