Purbeck 10k (2026)
The Purbeck 10k is a road race scheduled for Friday 12 June 2026. The event is run on a rural, undulating course that passes views of Corfe Castle and surrounding heathland. Organizers describe the route as having no big hills and note that personal bests have been recorded on the course. The race is included in the Dorset Road Running League.
Entry information published by the organiser lists a capacity of 540 places and shows 210 places entered at the time of publication. Entry fees are £18.00 for affiliated runners and £20.00 for unaffiliated runners, plus a booking fee of £1.50. Runners must be 15 years or older on race day.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, dogs, or buggies, and accompanying cyclists are not permitted. Personal headphones, earpieces, or bone conductors are prohibited and wearing them may lead to disqualification. All finishers receive a race memento. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers, and to male and female winners within age categories.
Entries may be transferred to another runner via the event entry system; the transfer deadline is midnight on Wednesday 10 June. The organiser states that the original entrant is responsible for any transaction between themselves and the person taking their place.
