Pups & Pints 5K
The Pups & Pints 5K is an annual running event held in Hockessin, Delaware. This race marks the fifth edition of the event and takes place on a course centered around 7234 Lancaster Pike. The event supports a charitable cause, with proceeds benefiting Grass Roots Rescue.
Participants in the 5 km race receive several amenities, including race SWAG and access to professional timing. Results are calculated using gun time for overall and masters rankings, while chip time is used for age group awards. The competition features several categories:

Awards are presented to the overall top male and female runners, as well as the top masters male and female. Additionally, the top three finishers in multiple age categories are recognized, ranging from ages 9 and under to 70 and over.
The event includes a post-race celebration located at Patterson Schwartz. This gathering features live music, food provided by a local cafe, and beer. Parking is available for all participants in the Patterson Schwartz parking lot. Bib pick-up is organized on the morning of the race at the event site.
