About the race
Punk Panther Ultra Unique is a relaxed, participant-designed ultramarathon held at Swinsty Moor Car Park, between Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs in North Yorkshire (LS21 2NP). Runners choose from bespoke loops totaling 28.5 to 53 miles, with 2500–5000 feet of ascent. The course is a series of moving loops (1.5–11.5 miles each) that aren’t taped; every runner navigates via GPX or paper map and reports back to a central gazebo.
It’s pitched as a "race where everyone wins": every finisher receives a winners shirt, a medal, and a framed certificate. There’s no fixed route, no cut-offs, and the option to run in pairs with a short final loop. Limited to 50 entrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
