Pumpkinman Half Marathon and Running Festival
The Pumpkinman Running Festival takes place in South Berwick, Maine, centered at Spring Hill on Pond Road. This event marks its 20th anniversary in September 2026 and features a variety of road running distances set against an autumnal backdrop. Participants can choose from several distinct race lengths:

- 3.14 Miles (American Pumpkin Pi)
- 8.675309 Miles (Pumpkin Jenni)
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 30 km
The 13.1 mile half marathon course includes various hills. The 30 km distance is designed as a supported run for those preparing for full marathons. All participants receive a race bib and a finishers medal. Competitors in the distances from 3.14 miles up to 30 km also receive a swag bag, a t-shirt, chip timing, and access to a New England Brunch featuring local seasonal food. The 1-mile fun run includes a bib, bag, and medal, but does not include the meal or timing.
The festival atmosphere includes music and fall-themed games. In addition to the Sunday running races, triathlon events are held on the preceding Saturday, including sprint and olympic distances involving swimming, cycling, and running.
