Pumpkinman Half Marathon - Pumpkinman Running Festival

The Pumpkinman Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile road race held as part of the Pumpkinman Running Festival on September 13, 2026, in Spring Hill, South Berwick, Maine (117 Pond Road). The course runs on scenic, hilly roads in southern Maine.

The half marathon is included among multiple Sunday distances at the festival. For distances other than the 1-Mile Fun Run, participants receive a custom race tee, swag bag, finisher medal, bib, chip timing and race photos. The event also features a post-race Harvest Brunch with apple cider mimosas, pumpkin beer, and fall games. The 2026 edition introduces the Grateful Mile, a dedicated section of the course with signage and prompts to run for someone special.

The festival supports fundraising for the Marshwood Education Foundation with tiered rewards: raising $150+ provides a fundraiser bracelet, access to a Fun-Raiser Lounge, and an upgraded swag bag; $250+ adds a 20th Anniversary Pumpkinman hat; $500+ adds Legend recognition in the celebration zone. Since 2006 Pumpkinman has donated over $435,000 to community causes. Athletes can also participate in Saturday triathlon events; entrants who race both days receive exclusive challenge swag.
