Pumpkin Spice Run - Seward Park, Seattle
The Pumpkin Spice Run takes place Sunday October 11th, 2026 at Seward Park in Seattle, Washington. The event offers multiple distances and a family friendly festival atmosphere on paved park paths along the shores of Lake Washington.
Distances include:
- 10K two loop course
- 5K single scenic loop
- 1 Mile Pumpkin Speed Dash
- Kid's Dash
- Stroller Dash .25 mile
The 5K and 10K routes include a climb into the park through forested areas with fall foliage and leaf cover, then return along a flatter lakeside path. Participants may add a pumpkin during registration or bring and run with their own; a pumpkin decorating station and an Orca Pumpkin Patch are available on site.
Swag for finishers includes a pumpkin medal and a finish line pumpkin spice latte or other fall drink. For 2026 a shirt is included with entries in the 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile; shirts for the Kid's Dash and Stroller Dash are optional add ons. The event is cupless to reduce waste; reusable cups or personal hydration gear are recommended.
Logistics notes: packet pickup is at Road Runner Sports, 7020 Woodlawn Ave NE, Seattle. Parking is limited to roughly 200 spots in the park upper loop plus parallel and on-street options. Overall awards are given to the top three men, women, and non binary runners by gun time; age group awards are in five year increments and must be picked up at the race. Registrations are non refundable though transfers and deferrals are allowed. The race supports Safe Crossings Foundation and Seattle Angels.
