Pumpkin Run and Lots O Fun
Pumpkin Run and Lots O Fun takes place on October 10, 2026 at Cloverdale Bottom Park in Montgomery, Alabama. The event is held rain or shine and includes a short race and a fun run along routes at the park. A map is available for the 5K route.
- 5K Run/Walk: 3.2 Miles
- Fun Run: 1 Mile
Registration opens August 12, 2026 and closes September 13, 2026. Registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $20 for the Fun Run. Packet pick-up is offered October 9 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Cloverdale Bottom Park and October 10 from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. at Cloverdale Bottom Park.
A medal is awarded to all who complete the 5K and the Fun Run. Gold, silver and bronze medals are given to the top three finishers in each division. Overall winners receive medals and gift cards and are removed from division standings. Additional awards include best costume in adult, teen, fun and dog categories. Dogs are welcome if they are people-friendly.
The event is presented by the ASF Foundation, a mentoring organization focused on academics, healthy living and good citizenship through sports. The foundation organizes the Alabama State Games and other youth programs such as Student Ambassadors, Scholarship Initiative, Honoring Our Heroes and GRIT 101 For Teens.
