48th Annual Pumpkin Run by Senior Coastsiders
The Pumpkin Run takes place in Half Moon Bay on October 18, 2026, with the event base at Hatch Elementary School, 490 Miramontes Ave. The course uses the Wavescrest Coastal Trail and includes sections that run alongside the Pacific Ocean. Proceeds support Senior Coastsiders, a local non-profit that provides services for older adults, including daily lunch, classes and lectures, Meals on Wheels, and home rehabilitation.

- Half Marathon with a 3.5 hour time limit
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids' Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual Run/Walk with bundle options (Trifecta, Double Trouble)
Virtual participants may upload times via the ASICS Runkeeper app, manually, or with other run trackers and can print a finisher certificate. Virtual completions must be finished by October 17, 2026; virtual registration after October 4, 2026 may affect packet and shirt delivery timing.
Race-day logistics note that the start/finish area is at the school parking lot. There is no parking in the Hatch Elementary School lot and Miramontes Avenue between Potter Avenue and the school is part of the route. Paid parking options are listed for nearby lots. Professional race photographs will be made available for download after the event. The event is not dog-friendly due to insurance reasons.
