5K Pumpkin Fun Run
The event is the 27th Annual Pumpkin Run held on November 7, 2026, in Hewitt, Wisconsin. It features a scenic 5K run/walk that follows streets and trails in the Hewitt area. A free kids run is scheduled prior to the 5K.
Organized by the Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department, the event uses the Yellowstone Park Pavilion at 7658 Yellowstone Drive for packet pickup, awards, and the post-race celebration. Race packet pickup will take place at the pavilion on the day of the event.
Registration opens June 23, 2026, and closes November 7, 2026. The registration fee is $35. Commemorative event T-shirts are available for an additional $20; to guarantee a preferred size, participants must pre-register by October 16, 2026. A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase on race day while supplies last.
Awards include a $50 cash prize for the overall first place male and female finishers and medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female participants in each age group. Age groups are: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Following the run, participants are invited to the pavilion for awards, a meal, and door prizes. Only those present at the event are eligible for door prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
