Pump Up & Jam 5K
The inaugural Pump Up & Jam 5K is a family oriented running event held at Suwanee Town Center Park in Georgia. This event serves as a fundraiser to support the North Gwinnett Marching Band. Participants are encouraged to wear inflatable costumes during the race, though this is not a requirement for participation.
The event features two primary distances:
- 5 km
- Fun Run
The 5 km course is an out and back route that utilizes the Suwanee Greenway. This course is a certified Peachtree Road Race qualifier, with both the starting and finishing lines located at Suwanee Town Center. The Fun Run is specifically designated for children aged 12 years and younger. Additionally, a Ghost Runner registration option is available for those who wish to provide a donation without participating in the physical race.
Awards are presented to the overall male and female finishers. Age group awards are also distributed three deep for males and females in categories ranging from 10 and under up to 60 and over. Packet pickup is conducted at the Suwanee Town Center stage on the morning of the event. While event t-shirts are provided, they are only guaranteed for participants who register by the specified cutoff date in late May. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
