April Monthly Run Social (M.R.S.)
The PTC Running Club hosts a Monthly Run Social on April 25, 2026 at The Fred (Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater) in Peachtree City, GA. The activity is open to club members and area runners; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Walkers and runners are welcome. The listed distance for the April event is 3 Miles.
April's theme is an Earth Day challenge. Each participant receives a destination and then has ten minutes to plan the route to that destination. Participants must also predict how long it will take them to travel to the destination and return to the starting point. Printed maps are available on request. All participants begin together after submitting their planned route and predicted time.
Ranking is based on the accuracy of each participant's time estimate. As part of a conservation challenge, participants who return with a piece of litter larger than a nickel are ranked above those who do not bring such an item. No watches, phones, or other timing devices are allowed while participating. Registration for the event is free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
