Provo City Half Marathon

The Provo City Half Marathon is the 19th annual running of the half marathon that begins at South Fork Park in Provo Canyon and finishes in downtown Provo at University Ave and Center. The organizers describe the course as fast and scenic and note that it follows a downhill route. The half marathon course is USATF certified. All participants are chip timed and receive gender specific event shirts. Half marathon finishers receive custom finisher medals.

The finish area in downtown Provo includes music, massages, entertainment, activities for children, and random prize giveaways. Prize awards for the half marathon overall winners are listed for male and female finishers as follows: $150 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third place. The event page also lists a 5K and a kids marathon as related race options. The Provo City Half Marathon is sponsored by Provo City but is not a city managed event.
