Provincetown 5K Pilgrim Trot
The Provincetown 5K Pilgrim Trot is the 15th annual community running and walking event held on Thanksgiving Day in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The course is an out-and-back 5K along Commercial Street, starting and finishing at the Sandcastle Resort and Club at 929 Commercial Street, with the turnaround at the Ice House Condominium.
Registration opens on August 16 and early bird registration is priced at $30 through November 15; the standard fee increases after that date. Kids 12 and under have a reduced fee during pre-registration and the fee increases later in November. The first 150 online registrants receive an event tee. Registration and bib pick up take place inside the Sandcastle Resort on the second floor, where there is ample parking.
The event welcomes walkers, pets, and strollers, and costumes are encouraged. One hundred percent of event proceeds are donated to Helping Our Women. Awards include $100 for the first male and first female finishers, plus a special prize for the first boy and the first girl.
