Providence Rhode Races
Providence Rhode Races is a multi-distance road race held at Bold Point Park in East Providence that travels through four Rhode Island communities. The event includes road races on city streets, bike paths and waterfront routes that pass historic neighborhoods, tree lined streets, coastal views and working waterfronts.

The full marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Courses use local landmarks and infrastructure such as the Linear Park bridge, India Park, Blackstone Boulevard, the Henderson Bridge, Waterfront Drive and the East Bay Bike Path, returning to a waterside finish at Bold Point Park.
Logistics include pre race packet pick up at Columbus Hall and reserved race day packet pick up at Bold Point Park. Marathon participants use Bold Point Park parking while half and 5k participants are assigned an office park lot at Veteran's Memorial Parkway. Shuttles operate for participants and spectators with runners boarding first.
On course support includes timed course limits, aid stations with water, electrolyte drink, energy gels and fruit, port a potties at each aid station, and designated pace groups. Race amenities include free event photos, gender and race specific tech shirts, finisher medals for the marathon and half marathon, a post race recovery festival with food and a recovery zone offering free post race massages. The event is Green Certified by the state Department of Environmental Management and lists Make A Wish as a charitable partner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
