The Providence Rhode Races take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, with the start and finish at Bold Point Park in East Providence, RI. The event program includes these distances:

The marathon course is USATF certified and designated as a Boston Marathon qualifier. The event is RRCA certified and R.I. Department of Environmental Management Green-Certified. Packet pick-up is offered the weekend before the race at Columbus Hall in East Providence, with limited race-day pickup available by reservation.
Course, logistics and amenities
Courses run through four Rhode Island communities and use landmarks and paths such as Linear Park, India Point Park, Blackstone Boulevard, the Henderson Bridge, Waterfront Drive, and the East Bay Bike Path; the full marathon includes a loop near the RI Country Club in Barrington. Official time limits are: Marathon - 6 hours; Half Marathon - 3.5 hours; 5K - 1 hour. Aid stations provide water, Nuun, some Gu energy gels and bananas; port-a-potties are at every aid station. Pace groups will be available for half and full distances. Race amenities include gender- and race-specific tech shirts, finisher medals for the marathon and half, free race photos, live runner tracking via RaceJoy, a post-race festival with recovery services and awards for overall and age-group places.
