Project SC - One Mile Challenge
Project SC - One Mile Challenge is a one mile track race held on July 24, 2026 at Bluffton Middle School Track in Bluffton, SC. Participants are grouped into heats based on projected finishing times, and the event includes a designated Elite Heat for the fastest entrants.
Proceeds from registration fees, merchandise sales, and donations will support youth running and local high school track and cross country teams. Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes July 22, 2026. The registration fee is $10.00.
Event amenities include music during the meet and professional photography and videography available after the event. Awards or prizes will be given to winners from each heat. The first 150 registrants will receive a pair of socks from Swiftwick.
The race takes place on a local track at Bluffton Middle School, providing a measured surface for time focused racing. Heats by projected finish time are used to group runners so that athletes compete with others of similar expected pace.
