Project Forward Heroes Gobble Gallop
Project Forward presents the Heroes Gobble Gallop on November 27 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, with the venue listed as Valleywide Insurance at 601 Hanover Street. The event is a city-street 5K for runners and walkers on a mostly flat course with a few uphill streets.
Registration includes a T-shirt, medal, and bib. T-shirt sizes are offered from adult Small to 3X-Large and there is a no T-shirt option available for a five dollar discount; T-shirts are limited after November 13. The published entry cost range is $31.50 to $40.00, with a price schedule noting $35 through November 25 and $40 through race day. Special age-group pricing applies for ages 1 to 18. Race registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Awards for the 5K Run/Walk recognize the top three male and female overall finishers and the top male and female in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13–18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and over. A competitive walk division uses the same overall and age-group awards.
All proceeds will benefit Belmont County Veterans, the Martins Ferry Fraternal Order of Police, and the Martins Ferry Fire Department.
