Prior Lake Dental Dash
The Prior Lake Dental Dash is an annual community running event held at Prior Lake Dental on Commerce Avenue in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The event features a main 5K Run/Walk and a children’s Tooth Trot of approximately 0.25 mile for ages 2 to 12. All registered 5K participants receive an official race T-shirt, a custom finisher medal, a custom race bib, and a professionally timed race experience. Kids who run the Tooth Trot receive their own race T-shirt and finisher medal.
The 2026 5K uses a new course through residential streets and new trails in the Prior Lake community. Course features include clearly marked mile markers, a halfway hydration station, course volunteers and guides, and a finish line celebration. Same-day registration is available at packet pick-up on race morning, though shirts and medals are not guaranteed for same-day registrants.
The event also supports Spot’s Last Stop Canine Rescue. Contributions through the event help provide medical care and vaccinations, safe foster homes, rescue and transport services, and adoption opportunities for dogs in need.
The race day program includes food trucks and refreshments, music and entertainment, sponsor booths and giveaways, family-friendly activities, awards and raffle prizes, and a lively finish line atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
