Prickly Pine Jackpot 24 Hour Solo/Relay
The Prickly Pine Jackpot 24 Hour Solo/Relay is scheduled for May 2–3, 2026 near Dousman, Wisconsin, inside the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The event offers multiple time formats: 6-hour race, 12-hour race, 12-hour relay, 24-hour solo, and 24-hour relay.
The course uses three loop options that run on the Scuppernong Trails and sections of the Ice Age Trail. Runners select which loop to run on each circuit and every completed loop counts toward a participant's total mileage. If a solo competitor does not complete the loop they are on when time ends, that loop does not count.
Loop distances:
- 3 miles loop
- 6 miles loop
- 9 miles loop
A portion of registration revenue funds jackpot prizes. For each 24 hour solo participant and each 24 hour relay team, 25% of the registration fee is added to the respective jackpot. Solo prize distribution is 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 10%, 4th 5%, and 5th 5%. The winning relay team receives the full relay jackpot; tied teams resolve the result with a final lap on the 3 mile loop.
The start and finish are at the DJ Mackie Picnic Area. Race swag varies by event and can include a sports bottle, cooling towel, finisher medal, duffle bag, and 50 mile belt buckle for those who exceed 50 miles. A Wisconsin State Forest parking pass is required for on site parking; Ottawa Lake Park sells day passes at its entrance. The first 30 24 hour solo and relay entrants receive a reserved 12'x12' gear drop spot. A designated camping area near the start and finish is provided for 24 hour solo and relay participants at no charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
