Event Overview

The Presque Isle Sprint Triathlon takes place on August 1, 2026, exclusively within Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania. All three segments—the swim, bike, and run—start, transition, and finish at Beach 10. The course offers a tour of the park, which is a Pennsylvania state park and a National Natural Landmark.

Participants can choose between two event formats:

  • INDIVIDUAL Sprint Triathlon
  • RELAY Sprint Triathlon

The sprint distance consists of a swim in Lake Erie, a bike ride around the full peninsula, and a run along a portion of the park's paved trail.
