Presque Isle Sprint Triathlon
The Presque Isle Sprint Triathlon is a single-day event held on August 1, 2026, entirely within Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania. All three segments - swim, bike, and run - start, transition, and finish at Beach 10. The course includes a swim in Lake Erie, a bike route that circles the peninsula, and a run on a portion of the park’s paved trail.
Additional event services include timing and posted results, an awards presentation at the race site, and participant items. Awards are given for 1st through 3rd places in individual categories and 1st and 2nd places in relay categories. All entrants receive a custom long-sleeve T-shirt, a swim cap, and post-race food and beverages; entrants registering after July 12 are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Complete race results are available the following day.
Packet pick-up is scheduled the evening before at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center; a photo ID is required and each athlete must pick up their own packet. Race-day check-in, chip pick-up, and race packet pick-up occur at Beach 10. All athletes must check in on race day and no day-of registrations will be accepted.
