Presque Isle Half Marathon
The Presque Isle Half Marathon takes place on July 19, 2026 at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania. The event starts and finishes at the Beach 1 pavilion and uses park trails along the shores of Lake Erie. Registration includes a triblend short sleeve race shirt, a finisher's medal and post race refreshments.
The course operates under park restrictions and has a three hour time limit. Participants who do not maintain a 14 minute per mile pace will be directed to the adjacent all purpose trail as the course closes. Park rangers may require runners to move to the all purpose trail sooner depending on conditions.
There is no day of race registration at the venue; registration must be completed online prior to race day. Packet pickup is available at Cabin 3 on Saturday from noon until 5:00 PM; signs will be placed at Presque Isle. Packets may also be picked up on Sunday before the race at the Beach 1 pavilion beginning at 5:30 AM, and another person may pick up a packet on a participant's behalf.
Entry is open to ages 12 and older. The race policy states there are no refunds, transfers or deferrals. Awards are presented once official results are available for overall top finishers and five year age groups; awards will not be mailed after the race.
