Presque Isle Half Marathon
The Presque Isle Half Marathon is held at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania, with the Beach 1 parking lot listed as the event location. Registration includes a triblend short sleeve race shirt, a finisher's medal and postrace refreshments. Entry is open to ages 12 and older; the listed entry fee is $50.
Because the event takes place on state park property, there is a three hour time limit on the course. Participants who do not maintain a 14 minute per mile pace will be moved to the adjacent all purpose trail as the course closes. Park rangers may require participants to move to the all purpose trail earlier depending on conditions.
There is no day of race registration at the venue; participants must register online before race day. Packet pickup is available at Cabin 3 on Saturday, with signs posted at Presque Isle, and at the Beach 1 pavilion on race morning; someone else may pick up a packet on a participant's behalf.
The refund policy states there are no refunds, transfers or deferrals. Awards are distributed after race results are available and include overall top three male and female winners, an overall masters winner, and five year age group awards. Awards will not be mailed.
