About the race
The Presque Isle Half Marathon is a road race held on the shores of Lake Erie at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania. The event on Sunday, July 19, 2026, uses the Beach 1 area for the start and finish and covers the standard half marathon distance.
Registration includes a triblend short sleeve race shirt, a finisher's medal and post race refreshments. The event is open to ages 12 and older and has a three hour time limit on the course. Runners who do not maintain a 14 minute per mile pace will be directed to the all-purpose trail next to the course as sections close; park rangers may require earlier redirection depending on conditions.
There is no day of race registration at the venue; registration must be completed online prior to race day. Packet pickup is available at Cabin 3 on the Saturday before the race from noon until 5 PM, or on race day at the Beach 1 pavilion prior to the start; someone else may pick up a packet on a participant's behalf.
There are no refunds, transfers or deferrals. Awards are distributed as soon as results are available and include overall first three finishers male and female, first overall masters winners, and five year age group awards.
