Presque Isle Half Marathon

Event details

The Presque Isle half marathon is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Presque Isle State Park on the shores of Lake Erie. The event fee is $50. Registration opens January 1, 2026 at 7:00 AM EST and there are 1,500 spots available. The race is open to ages 12 and older. Registered participants receive a triblend short sleeve race shirt, a finisher's medal and post-race refreshments. There is a three hour time limit on the course; runners who do not maintain a 14 minute per mile pace will be directed to the all-purpose trail next to the course. Park rangers may require earlier use of the all-purpose trail depending on conditions.

Logistics

The race meeting place is the Beach 1 parking lot and the Beach 1 pavilion will serve as the start and finish area. There is no day-of-race registration at the venue; entrants must sign up online before race day. Packet pickup is at Cabin 3 on Saturday (about 3 miles from the park entrance) with signs posted, and packets are also available Sunday morning at the Beach 1 pavilion; someone else may pick up a packet on a participant's behalf. Refunds, transfers and deferrals are not allowed. Awards are handed out once results are available and include overall male and female top three, overall masters winners and five-year age group awards; awards will not be mailed.
