Presque Isle Half Marathon
The Presque Isle Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Presque Isle State Park on the shore of Lake Erie in Erie, PA. The race uses the Beach 1 area for start/finish and is described as a half marathon distance. Registration includes a triblend short sleeve race shirt, a finisher's medal and post-race refreshments.
The course operates under park restrictions and has a three hour time limit. Runners who cannot maintain a 14 minute per mile pace will be directed off the course to the adjacent all-purpose trail as the course closes. Park rangers may require participants to move to the all-purpose trail earlier depending on conditions.
There is no day-of registration at the venue; registration is handled online prior to race day. Packet pickup is available at Cabin 3 (about 3 miles from the park entrance) with signs posted at Presque Isle on Saturday from noon until 5:00 PM. Packet pickup is also available on Sunday at the Beach 1 pavilion starting at 5:30 AM, and someone else may pick up a packet on a participant's behalf.
The event policy states there are no refunds, transfers or deferrals. Awards are handed out once race results are available and include overall top three male and female winners, first overall masters winners and age-group awards in five-year increments; awards will not be mailed.
