The Pregnancy Care Center hosts an annual 5K Walk/Run 4 Life on September 26, 2026 at two locations: Darby Pavilion, 200 NE Hillsboro Street, Lake City, FL, and First Federal Sportsplex, 1201 Silas Drive SW, Live Oak, FL. The event includes both a community walk and timed running options.
The course is a level, smooth 3.1 mile route that winds through town and local neighborhoods. The event is open to all ages and abilities; leisurely walkers may proceed at their own pace while timed runners use the competitive options. Awards in the form of medals are presented to top finishers in each age category.
Registration fees are stated as $35 for walkers and $35 or $45 for timed runners depending on timing of registration. Online registration and sponsorship options are provided, and prizes are awarded by age groups for the most money raised. The event is listed as rain or shine.
