Course and Location
The Pre-Game 5K Road Race features a USATF certified 5K course described as fairly flat. The route is a neighborhood course that starts and finishes at the Barrel House Z Brewery in South Weymouth.

Two events are offered:
- Pre-Game 5K Road Race
- Pre-Game 0.0K (a non-running option new for 2026)
A long sleeve cotton t-shirt is guaranteed for registrants of the 5K who sign up by January 22, 2026. Participants in the 0.0K also receive a long sleeve cotton t-shirt. A craft beer from Barrel House Z Brewery is included in the entry fee for participants over 21. Light snacks and a food truck will be available.
Awards and Teams
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, with Puma shoes as prizes. Every 100th finisher also receives Puma shoes. There are mixed team awards and "Gargantua," "Jr. Gargantua," and "Mini Gargantua" trophies for the largest teams. Parent/child teams are available, with the child's maximum age being 14.
Registration
A reduced entry fee is available for the 5K if registration is received by January 16. A youth price is offered for participants aged 19 and under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
