Event Overview
The Poynton Village 10k is a chip-timed mixed terrain race held in Poynton, Cheshire. The event starts and finishes on Park Lane, which is closed for the race. The route passes through the village and along surrounding countryside trails.
Logistics and Registration
Race headquarters and number collection on the day is at the Poynton Civic Centre on Park Lane. Registration opens at 08:00 and closes at 09:15. There are no entries accepted on the day, and the race has an entry limit of 800 participants. Participants expecting to take longer than 1 hour 45 minutes are asked to notify the organizer in advance.
On Completion
At the finish, there is an optional bespoke medal, along with snacks and water.
Prizes
Prizes are awarded for the first three overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in 5-year age bands from age 40.
