Powder Springs Hometown Run 5K
The Powder Springs Hometown Run is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at 3899 Brownsville Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127. The event offers a 5K distance with in-person and virtual participation options and multiple entry categories including a Founders entry, a child entry, and a virtual run.
Registration options and fees include Founders registration with 200 spots and a fee of $29, regular in-person registration at $35, child entry at $25, and a virtual run at $30. Founders and child registration open in late August 2026; regular in-person registration opens in early September 2026. Special pricing applies during the first week of registration through September 1, 2026. Shirts are available in multiple hometown colors and are guaranteed for registrations completed by October 10 for color selection and size guarantee.
Each finisher receives a T-shirt and a finisher medal created for the inaugural Powder Springs event. The event program includes registration and packet pickup, an opening ceremony and warm up, the race, an award ceremony, and a race celebration. Award categories cover overall male and female winners, age group awards by gender and age brackets, a Team Champion award based on lowest average time with a minimum team size of four, a Legacy Award for best parent-child duo, and school awards for representation and fastest school team.
