Pound Ridge Color Run
The Pound Ridge Color Run is a community 5K road race and fun run held at Pound Ridge Elementary School. The event in 2026 marks the fifth anniversary and is described as the town’s only 5K road race and fun run dedicated exclusively to celebrating Pride Month. The course includes color stations inspired by the Holi festival.
The event is hosted by the Pound Ridge Partnership in collaboration with the Human Rights Advisory Committee. Each year hundreds of runners and walkers from the tri state area attend to honor the LGBTQ+ community. Participants of all ages and abilities participate, and the event notes that children in strollers are welcome.
Race information materials mention packet pick up and a published race course, and past results and a photo gallery are maintained for previous years. Local sponsors and partners support the event. The description emphasizes the community and celebratory aspects tied to Pride Month without listing start or finish times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
