Pound Ridge 5k and Kids Dash
The Pound Ridge 5k and Kids Dash is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in Pound Ridge, New York. The event centers on Pound Ridge Elementary and Pound Ridge Town Park and is presented as the 28th annual road race in conjunction with the town's 250th anniversary activities.
Distances included:
- 5K Road Race
- 1K Run Ages 7–13
- Kids Dash Ages 2–6
The 5K course concludes at Pound Ridge Town Park. The 1K run requires check in at the elementary school for bus transport to the Beech Hill insertion point. The Kids Dash is held entirely inside the Town Park. Bib pick up is available on race day or on Thursday, July 2 at Townhouse, 179 Westchester Ave, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; in person registration is available on that day. Day of registrations are cash only.
All participants receive an official road race T shirt and a commemorative pint glass to collect at the finish. Face painting for children is offered and a light continental breakfast and refreshments will be provided at Pound Ridge Town Park after the 5K.
