The event uses chip timing. Participants receive a race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and free photo downloads. Aid stations are located every 2 to 3 miles and provide water, Tailwind electrolyte, and GU gels. The races are cupless to reduce waste; runners are invited to use a handheld bottle, hydration pack, or a small reusable cup.
Courses will be monitored and traffic controlled but are not closed, so participants should be aware of surroundings and are advised not to wear headphones. Porta-potties are available at the start and finish areas and at several points on course. Strollers and dogs are not allowed to participate on course; dogs may be present at the start and finish areas.
Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Poulsbo Running and packets may be picked up for others. Gear check is offered but runners must provide their own bag; the organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers by gun time and to age groups in five year increments. The event benefits Girls on the Run Westsound. Registration entries are non-refundable but may be deferred or transferred under the event policies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
