Event overview
The Potters House 5k & Fun Run takes place in Springfield, MO on April 11, 2026, at 724 S National Ave. The event is an annual fundraiser for Potter’s House, a not-for-profit, faith-based coffeehouse ministry that serves college and international students. The event includes the following options:

- 5k Run/Walk College Student Group
- Free Kids 10 & under 5k (no shirt)
- Virtual Run/Walk
Registration deadlines apply for guaranteed shirt sizes. Virtual participants receive race packets after the in-person event; virtual shirts are mailed within two weeks of race completion.
Logistics, awards and policies
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at the Studio next to Potter’s House and also on race morning. Parking is provided in Missouri State parking Lots 22 and 24 on the south part of campus, with limited reserved handicapped parking in the Bear Chapel lot and additional free parking nearby. Prizes include Potter’s House merchandise and coffee gift certificates, with age- and gender-based categories for top finishers. An awards ceremony and after party follow the event; winners must be present to collect prizes.
Event rules note that dogs on leash and strollers are allowed (start near the back), headphones are restricted to open-air bone conduction designs, bibs must be worn on the front and not altered, and the event is held rain or shine with specific lightning safety procedures.
