Potters House 5K & Fun Run : Springfield, MO
The event is an annual community 5K and fun run that raises funds for Potter’s House, a not-for-profit faith based coffee house ministry located at 724 S National Ave, Springfield MO 65804. The Potter’s Studio next door hosts small group meetings and weekly fellowship gatherings for international students.
The program includes multiple participation options: an in person 5K Run/Walk, a 5K Run/Walk college student group, a free kids 5K for ages 10 and under (no shirt), and a Virtual Run/Walk. Race day shirts were ordered for participants who completed registration by March 27, 2026 to guarantee a shirt. Virtual registrants receive packets the week after the in person event and shirts are sent within two weeks when possible.
Prizes for top finishers are Potter’s House swag and coffee gift certificates for male and female placements first through third in these age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, and 50 plus. An awards ceremony and a post race gathering follow the event where coffee and Parlor Donuts are provided; participants must be present to collect prizes. Dogs on leash and strollers are permitted on course with recommended placement near the back of the start corral. Headphone use is restricted to open air bone conduction designs.
