Potter the Fell
Potter the Fell is an 8-mile walk in the Lake District on Saturday 4 July 2026. The route starts in Burneside and finishes at Handsome Brewery in Bowston where a BBQ and a final drink are provided.
Along the route there are pop-up drink stations approximately every 2 miles where participants collect pre-ordered drinks. Drink options include beer, white wine, red wine, fruit cider and gin; a soft drinks option is available for designated drivers. First aid and water are available at points along the route.
Registration takes place at The Bryce. The event notes a minimum age of 18 and lists entry fees: Walker £36.00 and Designated Driver £15.00. Drivers can use the car park opposite the church in Burneside. Public transport to Burneside is possible by train from Kendal and Windermere, and by bus from Kendal.
Additional food and drinks at the finish require cash as card payments are not available. All proceeds support Selside School Association, Registered Charity No. 1124182. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
