- 1 Mile Run/Walk A Mascot Dash for mascots only is listed as a tentative event.
Course
The 1 mile walk is one lap around the Poteet Strawberry Festival Grounds. The 5K is an out-and-back course that starts on the festival grounds and goes into the countryside.
Participant Information
Strollers are allowed. Pets are allowed if kept on a leash, cleaned up after, and wearing current tags and vaccinations. Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult during the 5K and 1 Mile events. The event is hosted by a nonprofit organization.
Amenities & Awards
The first 200 registered participants by March 2, 2026, receive an event shirt. The first 200 finishers in each distance earn a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top 3 male and female finishers. There is also a team award for the team with the largest number of registered participants.
