Patriot Day 5K and 1 Mile Walk at Pleasanton River Park
The event takes place on September 12, 2026 at Pleasanton River Park in Pleasanton, Texas. It commemorates the 25th anniversary of September 11 and directs proceeds to the Pleasanton JROTC Booster Club. The event is hosted by the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Express and is described as family friendly, first responder friendly, veteran friendly, and pet friendly. The park includes a splash pad, zipline, skate park, and an interactive accessible playground.

Chip timing is provided by IAAP. Runners receive awards while runners and walkers receive participation medals; finisher medals are given to all who compete. Gift card awards include $100 for overall male and female and $50 for overall masters male and female for those over 40. Age group awards are presented for 1st through 3rd place across the listed age categories. The event will provide food and beverages including free sausages on a stick, entertainment, a ceremonial observance, team awards, and other onsite activities. Entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Online and paper registration options are noted and packet pickup is handled at the race site on race day.
