Pot of Gold 5K - Knightdale

The 10th Annual Pot of Gold 5K is scheduled for March 13, 2027, in Knightdale, North Carolina. The event is a community 5K (3.1 miles) held through Knightdale Station Park, with packet pickup located at Northside Community Church, 621 N. First Avenue, Knightdale, NC 27545.

Registration carries a fee of $35. Race packets include a 5K bib with timing chip, sponsor swag, and a Pot of Gold 5K T-shirt; a finisher’s medal is provided if requested. Registrations after February 21, 2027 are not guaranteed requested shirt sizes or availability. Packet pickup is available the day before and the morning of the event; there is also a post-race packet pickup on March 20, 2027. Unclaimed packets after that pickup will be donated back to the Northside Compassion Project.

Food trucks will be on site during the event morning. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and top three overall female finishers; overall winners are not eligible for age-group awards. Age-group awards are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group: 6-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-22, 23-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Proceeds benefit the Northside Compassion Project to support the maintenance of a 24-hour food box supplying non-perishable food and hygiene items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
