What participants receive and race services
Registration includes a Pot of Gold 5K shirt, a finisher's medal, locally sourced swag, and access to an online gallery of race day photos with free downloads for participants. Registrations after February 21, 2026 are not guaranteed a specific shirt size or shirt availability. A post-race packet pickup is scheduled for March 21, 2026 at Northside Community Church, 621 First Avenue N in Knightdale; unclaimed packets will be donated to the Northside Compassion Project. Food trucks will be on site on race morning.
Awards and beneficiary
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers (overall winners are not eligible for their age-group awards) and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 6-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-22, 23-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Proceeds benefit the Northside Compassion Project to support a 24-hour food box supplying non-perishable food and hygiene items. The event is timed by Run The East, LLC.
