Portland Parks 5K Fun Run Series at Lents Park
This event is part of Portland Parks & Recreation's annual 5K Fun Run Series. The series runs monthly from May through August at parks across Portland. The Lents Park date is listed for June 14 as one stop in the 2026 series.
The series features multiple organized runs on race day, including a competitive 5K race, an all-participant 5K fun run, and a kids fun run. The kids option offers either a 1K or a 2K distance for children eight years old and younger. A sports clock is available for participants who wish to time their runs, and every finisher receives a ribbon.
Registration policy distinguishes by age: participants aged 18 and older pay a five dollar registration fee; participants younger than 18 run for free. Organizers encourage pre-registration but also accept walk-up registration on the day of each run on a cash only basis.
