Event overview
The Port Vale 5k & Boomers Santa Hat Run takes place on 14 December 2025 at Vale Park, Stoke-On-Trent. The event offers two runs, both finishing inside the stadium. The 5k has a minimum age of 11 and the event capacity is 500. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an option to buy a t-shirt.

The 5k route leaves Vale Park, runs through Burslem streets, returns via Sproson Park and includes a lap of the pitch to finish in front of the Hamil Road Stand. The Boomer Santa Run starts by the club shop and finishes inside the stadium within a contained area. Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women, first in age groups 40, 50 and 60, fastest in a Vale top and fastest in an away fans top. The event includes a fan zone with stalls, games, food and a bar; the Vale shop will be open. Entry fees listed are: Fun Run £5; 5k £12/£14 with a lower rate for UKA affiliated entrants. Optional upgrades include a Santa hat at £2 and a bespoke t-shirt at £9.99. Volunteers receive full training and a free event t-shirt.
