Event overview
The Port Vale 5k and Boomers Santa Hat Run take place on 14 December 2025 at Vale Park in Stoke. The event includes a main 5 km race and a shorter Boomer Santa Run fun course. Both races finish inside the stadium. The event has a stated capacity of 500 participants and a minimum age of 11 for the 5k. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; there is an optional event t-shirt for purchase and a Santa hat upgrade.

The 5k course leaves Vale Park, runs through Burslem streets, returns via Sproson Park and includes a lap of the pitch, finishing in front of the Hamil Road Stand. The fun run starts by the club shop and finishes inside the stadium in a contained area. Prize categories include male and female 1st to 3rd, age-group awards for 40, 50 and 60, fastest in a Vale top and fastest in an away fans top; the fun run has prizes for fastest boy and girl (under 16) and fastest in a Vale top. A Vale fan zone will offer stalls, games, food and a bar, and the Vale shop will be open. Volunteers are being recruited; volunteers receive full training and a free event t-shirt.
