Port Aransas Turkey Trot
The Port Aransas Turkey Trot is an annual coastal Thanksgiving running event that raises funds for Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Day School, a 501(c)(3) and the only day school in Port Aransas. Since 2022 it has featured seaside courses, pre-race activities, a kick-off party, a vendor village, family-friendly events, and a finish-line celebration.
For 2026 the event moved to Cinnamon Shore North at 214 Grand Boulevard, Port Aransas. Race day registration is listed for November 25. Parking is located on the beach between markers 43 44 45 and requires a beach parking permit; a shuttle service will run to and from the event.
The event offers a range of distances and race types with tiered registration pricing. The 2K, 5K and 10K entries include a t-shirt, finisher medal, and a swag bag that includes the race shirt. Tot Trot and the 1K kids run have optional shirts available for purchase. Award categories for the 5K and 10K include overall male and female plus the top three male and female in these age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99.
