Popsicle Dash - Free Community Event
The Popsicle Dash is a community focused running event held in Long Beach, California. The event takes place at Granada Beach, specifically near Rosie's Dog Beach, and utilizes a flat beach path that offers ocean views. Participation in the event is free of charge as part of an initiative to encourage movement and community connection without financial barriers.
The event features three distinct distances to accommodate various ages and preferences:

- Little Kids 300 Yard Dash
The course is designed to be stroller and walker friendly, and participants are welcome to bring their dogs. All participants receive a finisher medal and a popsicle upon completing their respective distances. The event also includes a "Most Extra Costume Contest" where runners are encouraged to wear themed attire, such as retro neon outfits or beach-themed accessories.
On-course utility includes water stations and medical staff stationed at the finish. Participants have access to free race photos taken by professional photographers during the run and at the finish line.
