Poppy Run 5K
The Poppy Run is a community running event held on May 23, 2026, at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in Wauseon, Ohio. It is presented in memory of those who fought for the nation and benefits veterans organizations. Proceeds for this edition support Flag City Honor Flight and the Fisher House Foundation.
The event program begins with a pre-race Memorial Day ceremony, followed by a 5K run/walk and a kids 1/2 mile race. Registration fees listed for the events are $35.00 for the 5K and $5.00 for the kids run.

Finishers receive medals and age group awards. Overall Male, Overall Female, and Overall Masters (40 and older) receive awards. Top three in each age group receive a banner. Age group awards are provided for standard divisions including 10 & under up through 85 and older. Awards will not be shipped; recipients are expected to be present for the awards ceremony.
