  • 50 miles

The start location for both races is Lookout Campground. The course is remote and is run entirely on dirt roads. Total elevation change on the course is about 3,000 feet. Course

The 100-mile race goes out 58.5 miles to Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge and then returns, finishing at Simpson Springs Corral. The 50-mile race follows the same direction but finishes at the Blackrock Pony Express station site. Roads along the course are described as good for driving if not driven too fast.
