About the race
Pomeroy SoleKids Fall Frenzy 5k takes place on November 14, 2026 at the Garfield County Fairgrounds in Pomeroy, WA. The event uses a single 5 K course that combines asphalt and dirt surfaces, described as a flat, fast loop through town that passes fall foliage and cooler seasonal conditions.
The race is presented as the culmination of the Fall SoleKids season. SoleKids, Pomeroy is part of SoleKids, a Boise based nonprofit that works with children from pre-k through 5th grade. The local program runs spring and fall sessions that meet twice a week for eight weeks to prepare participants for a 5k race. Entry to this event is free for enrolled SoleKids, Pomeroy program members; program staff provide the required entry code to those participants.
A limited number of participant shirts will be available and size availability may be limited. Organizers state that financial hardship will not prevent participation and that assistance can be arranged by contacting event organizers. The standard entry price is listed as USD 23.50 and registration closes on November 13, 2026.
On-course support includes a porta potty at the start and finish area and an aid station located at the halfway point. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
