Blue Mountain Bash : June 27, 2026
The Blue Mountain Bash Trail 5K is a trail race in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington, held inside the Umatilla National Forest. The course is an out and back that starts at the Boundary Trailhead, follows the North-South Trail, and turns around at Rose Springs SnoPark. The North-South Trail is a wide, rolling trail that runs between the start and the turnaround.
The event includes shuttle service provided by the local transportation authority from the Pomeroy High School parking lot to Boundary Campground; two shuttle trips run to the trailhead with return trips afterward. Shuttle use is included with registration.
Facilities include a vault near the start and finish and vault toilets at Boundary Campground and at Rose Springs SnoPark. An aid station with water and snacks is located at the course turnaround.
All finishers receive shirts and medals; to guarantee a shirt, registration should be completed by June 12. Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers and to the top three male and female SoleKids runners.
The race serves as the culminating event for SoleKids, Pomeroy Spring 2026. SoleKids is a Boise based nonprofit running program for children in pre-k through fifth grade that runs spring and fall eight week sessions to prepare for a 5k. Organizers offer fee assistance for participants unable to pay if contacted before June 26. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
