Blue Mountain Bash - Pomeroy, WA
The Blue Mountain Bash is a trail 5K held on June 27, 2026, in Pomeroy, Washington, within the Umatilla National Forest. The third annual event starts at the Boundary Trailhead and follows the North-South Trail to a turnaround at Rose Springs SnoPark, then returns along FS Road 40 to the start. The course layout was changed in 2026 from an out-and-back to a loop; cones and signage will be used on course for participant safety.
The North-South Trail is described as a wide, rolling trail. Facilities include vault toilets near the start and at Boundary Campground and Rose Springs SnoPark. An aid station with water and snacks will be located at the turnaround point at Rose Springs SnoPark, and a vault toilet will be available near the start/finish.
A shuttle service from Pomeroy High School to Boundary Campground is provided and is included with registration; return shuttles are scheduled for after the race. Event registration closes on June 26, and registering by June 12 is recommended to guarantee a shirt. Shirts and medals will be provided to all finishers. Awards will be presented to the top three male and top three female overall finishers and to the top three male and top three female SoleKids finishers.
