Blue Mountain Bash Trail 5K : Pomeroy, WA
The third annual Blue Mountain Bash Trail 5K is a trail race in the Blue Mountains within the Umatilla National Forest near Pomeroy, Washington. The course is an out and back that starts at the Boundary Trailhead and follows the North South Trail to the turnaround at Rose Springs SnoPark. The North South Trail is described as a wide, rolling trail.
The event serves as the culminating race for the SoleKids, Pomeroy spring 2026 season. SoleKids is a Boise based non profit that runs spring and fall programs for children from pre kindergarten through fifth grade, meeting twice a week for eight weeks and training for a 5K race. Entry is free for SoleKids, Pomeroy participants.
Transport to the race is available via a shuttle from the Pomeroy High School parking lot. Two shuttles are scheduled to run and the shuttle service is included with registration. Return trips are scheduled from the race drop off area.
On course amenities include a vault toilet near the start and vault toilets at Boundary Campground and Rose Springs SnoPark. An aid station with water and snacks will be located at the turnaround. All finishers receive shirts and medals; to guarantee a shirt register by June 12. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers and the top three male and female SoleKids runners.
