Blue Mountain Bash Trail 5K
The Blue Mountain Bash Trail 5K is a trail race scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the Blue Mountains near Pomeroy, Washington. The third annual event takes place in the Umatilla National Forest and uses NF Road 40 for access.
The course is an out and back that begins at the Boundary Trailhead and follows the North South Trail to the turnaround at Rose Springs SnoPark. The trail is described as wide and rolling. An aid station with water and snacks is located at the turnaround. Vault toilets are available near the start and at Boundary Campground and Rose Springs SnoPark.
Transportation to the start is provided by shuttle service from the Pomeroy High School parking lot to Boundary Campground; the shuttle is included with registration. The race also serves as the culminating event for the SoleKids, Pomeroy spring 2026 season. Entry is free for SoleKids, Pomeroy participants and a coupon code for those entries will be issued in June.
All finishers receive a shirt and a medal; registration by June 12 is required to guarantee a shirt. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female SoleKids runners. Organizers state that financial assistance is available for participants with hardship and that registration closes June 26, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
