Event Overview
The Polka Run 5K is the inaugural edition of the event. It is part of the Lithuanian Folk Dance Festival, which takes place from July 10 to 12 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.
Course & Experience
The course goes along Lake Shore Drive and the shores of Lake Michigan, offering views of the Chicago skyline. The event celebrates the polka, a lively traditional dance. Participants are encouraged to wear the colors of the Lithuanian flag: yellow, green, and red. The event has a limited capacity.
Participant Information
The event is open to runners and walkers. It is an officially timed race. All participants receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers.
