About the race
The Polar Bear Ultra 12H 2027 is the fourth edition of a timed loop event held in Beaumont at 58 Chemin du Domaine on February 6, 2027. The format requires each participant to complete a single loop of 6.2 km every hour until 12 loops are finished.
Participants who fail to complete a loop receive a DNF. The official ranking at the end of the event is determined by the cumulative time of the 12 fastest loops. The rules specify that each loop must be completed in less than 60 minutes. Each competitor may have at most one crew; that crew cannot be replaced once the race begins. No aid may be provided to a runner after their loop has started, and runners must remain on the marked course except to use facilities. Runners must be in the start area before the next loop begins and must keep their bib, bracelet, or wristband on when rejoining the course.
After completing a loop, a runner may go to the designated rest area and receive assistance from their crew. Spectators are not allowed in the rest area but may encourage runners along the course. Non compliance with the rules may result in disqualification. The event is in person and the listed ticket price is CAD 134.46 with no refunds.
