Polar Bear 5K
The Polar Bear 5K takes place on January 18, 2026, in Washington Park, Denver. It is part of the RunDenver Series produced by HAL Sports. Distances offered:

Event features and logistics
Participants receive a long-sleeve event shirt and a custom finisher medal. The event includes free race photos and finish-line refreshments. A mascot appearance by Polie the Polar Bear is listed, and a kids fun run is offered at each RunDenver Series event.
Advance packet pickup is available at Road Runner Sports, 8457 S. Yosemite St., Lone Tree, on January 17. Race-day packet pickup is available near the start area at Washington Park. A virtual participation option is available; event materials for virtual participants will be mailed.
Registration fees listed are: Adult $43.72; Youth 17 & under $38.37; Seniors 60+ $38.37; Virtual $43.72. Charity partners include the Colorado Gynecologic Cancer Alliance and the Fetal Health Foundation. Event sponsors include Badass Coffee and Road Runner Sports.
