RunDenver Series
The RunDenver Series is a sequence of five run/walk events produced by HAL Sports. It has operated in Colorado for more than three decades. The series for winter 2025–26 includes: Rudolph Ramble 5K (December 7, 2025, City Park), Polar Bear 5K (January 18, 2026, Washington Park), SuperBowl 5K (February 1, 2026, Washington Park), Valentine's Day 4 Mile (February 8, 2026, Washington Park), and That Dam Run (March 1, 2026, Cherry Creek Dam Road). Each event includes a free kids fun run of approximately 200 meters.
That Dam Run offers multiple distance options:
- 13.1 (half marathon)
- 10K
- 5K
The series lists the Colorado Gynecologic Cancer Alliance and the Fetal Health Foundation as charity partners.
Polar Bear 5K (part of the series)
The Polar Bear 5K is a run/walk in Washington Park on January 18, 2026. Advance packet pickup is available at Road Runner Sports, 8457 S. Yosemite St., Lone Tree, CO 80124; race day packet pickup is available near the Washington Park start line. Event features include a long-sleeve event shirt, finish-line refreshments, free event photos, a kids fun run for ages 8 and under (about 200 meters), a custom finisher medal, and a special appearance by Polie the Polar Bear. Listed sponsors include BADASS COFFEE and Road Runner Sports. Published registration fees show adult entry at $43.72, youth (17 and under) and seniors (60 and over) at $38.37, and a virtual option priced at $43.72.
