Polar Bear 5K - RunDenver Series
The Polar Bear 5K is a run/walk held on January 17, 2027 at Washington Park in Denver, near S. Franklin and E. Mississippi Ave. The event is part of the RunDenver Series and includes race and family-oriented activities.

Packet pickup is available in advance on Saturday, January 16th; the time and location for advance pickup are to be announced. Race day packet pickup opens near the start line at Washington Park.
Race amenities and features listed for the event include Chill Running socks for participants, free photos posted alongside race results, refreshments at the finish, a custom finisher medal, and a special appearance by Polie the Polar Bear. The event schedule includes a kids fun run, awards, and a costume contest.
Awards are given to the top overall male, female, and nonbinary finishers; the top three male and female finishers in the listed age groups (12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over); and the top three overall male and female 5K racewalk finishers, with racewalk results verified by USATF officials.
