About the race
The Agency Aquathlon at Kingston Beach is an aquathlon event organised by Triathlon South at Osborne Esplanade, Kingston Beach, Tasmania. It forms Race 2 of the Aquathlon Series and is a Triathlon South Club Points Race with solo and team entry options.
Two race formats are offered:
- Short Course Aquathlon: 300m swim | 2.5km run
- Sprint Aquathlon: 1km swim | 5km run
Age and eligibility rules apply: 12 year olds may enter the Short Course solo or as part of a team; 13 year olds can only compete in the Sprint as part of a team; 14 year olds may enter the Sprint solo. Club points are allocated by age bands for the season (age at 31 December 2026) with specific points rules: Youth (12-13) earn club points in Short Course, Juniors (14-19) earn points in Sprint, and other age categories include Senior, Veteran, Super Veteran, and Master Veteran.
Entry fee tiers vary by membership status and race distance; a one-day licence is included where applicable. Entries close at 4 PM the night before the race; a late entry option is available for an additional $20 up to one hour before race start.
Prizes include small awards to the first three overall male and female across each race and winning teams, plus club championship points contributing to year-end age category and triathlete awards. A TRYstars participation series for ages 7 to 12 runs on race day with a shorter swim-run format. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
