The Point Mugu Trail Run is a spring trail race at Point Mugu State Park on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The event starts at the Ray Miller Trail Head in La Jolla Canyon, near 9000 E. Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265. It is listed as Race #3 of the 2026 SoCalTrail "Trail 1/2 Series."

Course and race facilities
The course begins on the Ray Miller Trail and includes a 3-mile ascent of ocean-view switchbacks, a descent into Sycamore Canyon, and a climb on the Fireline Trail. The short course turns around at the top of Fireline.
All aid stations are stocked with Skratch Labs hydration. A finisher medal is included with same-day results. Age-group and overall awards are presented at a post-race festival. The event provides complimentary breakfast tacos and hot drinks after the race, a beer garden for participants 21 and older, and post-race massages. Free course photos are released after race day.
